The Great Escape
Day after day, week after week I would sit in here playing my penny whistle in an effort to get what every money was offered. Street homeless and feeling hopeless.
The only tune I could play? The great escape.
That was many years ago. I've not had to sleep on the streets for a long long time and for that I remain so very great full.
I'm one of the lucky ones.
